Green Tea Restaurant's First Hong Kong Outlet Opens – A Milestone in Overseas Expansion

Green Tea Restaurant's first Hong Kong location at Hysan Place officially opened on August 31, 2024. Located in the heart of Causeway Bay, one of Hong Kong's most prominent commercial districts, Hysan Place is nestled between historic temples and modern skyscrapers, where traditional culture meets contemporary trends. This unique setting marks the debut of Green Tea Restaurant in Hong Kong.

Mr. Wang Qinsong, Chairman of the Group, and Mr. Tao Ye,  GM of Overseas Business Division, were present at the event to celebrate the occasion. Also attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony were officials from Invest Hong Kong and the General Manager of Hysan Place.

To mark this significant occasion, Green Tea Restaurant has invited Mr. Yu Bin, a renowned chef frequently recognized as one of Hangzhou's top chefs and a former head chef of several Michelin and Black Pearl restaurants, to serve as the Chief Consultant. Together, they have crafted a special Hong Kong-exclusive menu. This exclusive menu, based on traditional Zhejiang cuisine, includes dishes such as West Lake Water Shield and Fish Balls Soup, Dongpo Braised Beef, and Crispy Pork Belly with Sauce. The menu blends heritage with innovation, offering Hong Kong diners a unique twist on Zhejiang cuisine not available in mainland China. It promises a high-quality, authentic "New Zhejiang Cuisine" dining experience, showcasing the aesthetic of Zhejiang cuisine through the concept of "one hand in the flames, one hand in the art."

The first location in Hong Kong adopts the design theme of "Breezy Bamboo Shadows," with a primary focus on Jiangnan bamboo elements. The color palette features moon white as the base, accented with bamboo green, creating a comfortable, soft, and elegant dining environment that reflects the rich cultural heritage of the ancient country.

The Hong Kong outlets at Hysan Place and The Wai Mall officially opened in August and November,2024, respectively.

Green Tea Restaurant's entry into Hong Kong is not only a milestone celebrating the group's 20th anniversary but also the first step in the restaurant's overseas expansion. It marks the beginning of Green Tea Restaurant's journey to introduce "Exguisite Chinese Cusime" to the world. This development is of great significance in achieving the company's vision: "To make Green Tea a global culinary brand and create a happy and prosperous life together with our partners."
